That didn’t take long. There are some stories that just don’t go away no matter how long they keep going. That can become a problem if the story isn’t all that good, which was the case with a certain recent story in WWE. As a result, the company was going to be doing something to clean up some of the problem, but that does not seem to be the case any longer.

Back in September 2019, Lana and Bobby Lashley made their returns to WWE and revealed that they were in a romantic relationship, despite Lana being married to Rusev. The story went on for several months, lasting all the way to February. It was not exactly the most well received, and as a result WWE started to deal with some of the fallout. However, that might not be taking place any longer.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, WWE has changed plans and will not be splitting up Lana and Lashley anytime soon. WWE had teased splitting the two up, with Lashley talking about needing a new manager as well as a new wife. This week’s Monday Night Raw features Lana cheering Lashley on as he flipped over tires to display his strength. There is no word on why WWE changed plans or if they will split the two up in the future.

The two have a history together. Check out some of their relationship:

Opinion: I’m not exactly surprised here as WWE certainly seems to like the two of them together. Even though Lashley isn’t exactly on the same level that he was on before, having Lana around isn’t really helping him. Lashley doesn’t come off as someone who needs someone to do the talking for him as he can be a good enough villain on his own, or just have the power do the talking for him. Maybe WWE doesn’t want to shake things up at the moment, but it doesn’t mean it’s a good idea not to.
