WWE Adds Three Huge WrestleMania Matches

Tampa is a Swinging city. There are a lot of ways to set up a WrestleMania match and one of the best ways is to set up a personal issue between two people. You can go about this in a variety of ways and some of them can make for some rather fascinating situations. In addition to the personal situation, you can also set up a match around a championship and both will be on display at WrestleMania 37.

We are just over two weeks away from WrestleMania 37 and that means it is time to really hammer the card home. However, with less than three weeks between Fastlane and WrestleMania, there were only so many ways that could be done to set the card up in advance. With Fastlane out of the way though, it is time to really push the card forward and WWE did so this week.

WWE added three more matches to the WrestleMania 37 card during this week’s edition of SmackDown. There was one title match included, along with two personal grudges. The matches added to the card were:

• Big E. defending the Intercontinental Title against Apollo Crews (Night Two)
• Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro (Night One)
• Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn (Night Two)

These matches bring the total number of matches to eleven over two nights, with six on the first and five on the second. It comes after four new matches were added to the card during this week’s Monday Night Raw.

Opinion: I know there is not a ton of time left before WrestleMania so this is the kind of thing that the show has been needing. WWE has added seven matches to the card in five days and that is some rapid fire building. I’m not sure if this is going to be the best WrestleMania in the world but at least they are doing something here for a change, which is the kind of thing WrestleMania has been needing.
