Not so fast. We are less than a week away from WrestleMania and in theory, that means we are out of time for many new things to be added to the card. There are already more than a dozen matches announced over the course of the two nights, with multiple matches having more than two people involved. That is a lot of people on the card, but it turns out that there are a few more people still to be added.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles have not had the best history so far. It has seemed that a lot of teams have been thrown together out of nowhere for the sake of making up challengers for the titles. That is not the best look in the world, but it has certainly made for some interesting moments. It seems that WWE has plans for another such team at WrestleMania, but they may have jumped the gun a bit.

During this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, a Tag Team Turmoil match was announced for the first night of WrestleMania 37, with the winning team receiving a title shot on night two. Four teams were announced for the match, but WWE sent out a tweet showing a fifth team, Billie Kay and Carmella, included. During the show, Kay said Carmella was considering joining her in the match but it had not yet been confirmed. WWE has yet to confirm that the fifth team will be added.

The team could be added. Check out the members in action and who they might be facing:

Ruby Riott vs. Billie Kay: Raw, July 6, 2020

Bianca Belair vs. Carmella: SmackDown, April 2, 2021

Asuka & Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler: Raw, Apr. 5, 2021

Opinion: I don’t think there is much of a secret to the fact that Kay and Carmella are being added to the card. At the same time, it isn’t exactly a bad thing that WWE announced this in advance as it isn’t like Carmella and Kay are the biggest addition to the match in the first place. Having four teams in the match never felt right in the first place so maybe adding someone new in works out a little bit better.
