That’s the logical way to go. Commentary is one of the most important parts of any wrestling show. Fans need a way to know what they are seeing and what they should be focusing on with any given show. Finding the right combination is a difficult effort but now it seems that we know where WWE is going to go to find a replacement for a departed commentary member.
Earlier this week, Pat McAfee announced that he was taking a break from WWE and accepting a full time role on ESPN’s College Gameday. McAfee is currently the color analyst on SmackDown, meaning a replacement is needed. According to NewsXero on Twitter, Corey Graves is expected to be the temporary replacement for McAfee. Graves will also continue his role on Monday Night Raw.
Source believes for the mean time Corey Graves will end up doing smackdown as well as Raw.

Opinion: Graves was the most logical way to go and that is not a bad thing. While he might not be the most popular broadcaster, Graves is experienced and someone who has been around long enough that he is a known voice for WWE. I don’t know if he needs to be doing both shows full time, but for a short term replacement, there are far worse options to pick from.
What do you think of the choice? Who should be McAfee’s permanent replacement? Let us know in the comments below.
