WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Star Receives Applause Following Monday Night Raw Match

That’s some praise. With WWE having so many wrestlers on its roster, they are able to have them split up into three distinct groups. This includes NXT, which serves as both a national television show as well as the company’s official developmental territory. It can mean a lot for an NXT star to come up to the main roster and now another one made a rather well received debut.

NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes made his Monday Night Raw in-ring debut this week when he lost to Finn Balor. According to Better Wrestling Experience on Twitter by way of Cagesideseats.com, Hayes received applause when he reached the Gorilla Position after his match. There is no word on when Hayes will be brought back to the main roster or promoted full time from NXT.

Opinion: It is always a good sign when someone gets this kind of attention and I can’t say I’m surprised. Hayes has done very well on top of NXT and there was no way that he would not be getting a look on the main roster shows. It would be great to see him heading up there full time one day, but hopefully it is not for a long time, as he has a lot left to do in NXT at the moment.
