That caught the attention. There are a variety of talented wrestlers on the WWE roster and as a result, there are all kinds of combinations that can be put together in a match or even a feud. While some of these seem rather obvious, there are others which might not have been considered. WWE seemed to dip its toe into the idea of one of these pairings this week and got an unexpected reaction.

The main event of this week’s Monday Night Raw saw Bron Breakker defeat Jey Uso to retain the Intercontinental Title. The match saw interference from the Bloodline, including Jacob Fatu. At one point in the match, Breakker and Fatu had a showdown of their own, with Uso breaking it up before anything could happen.
According to WrestleVotes Radio by way of Wrestlingnews.co, some backstage in WWE were “almost stunned” by how well the showdown was received by the live crowd. There are currently no plans for Breakker and Fatu to do anything at the moment, WWE Creative reportedly believes that they have “stumbled onto something big.”
It was a big one. Check out the match plus the two in action:
Opinion: Well, yeah. I’m not sure why this should be seen as a big surprise, as fans are going to react to the idea of two big monsters like Breakker and Fatu staring each other down. That’s one of those basic wrestling ideas, though I could understand why WWE never thought about putting them together. Seeing them go face to face worked fine, and I could go for them doing it again in a bigger way.
