That’s very different. There have been all kinds of changes taking place to WWE in recent months, with the biggest of them all being the company being sold to Endeavor. Now it seems that one of the changes might not have even been recognized right in front of your eyes.

This week’s SmackDown is set to take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The arena has been seen as WWE’s home base and backyard for decades and WWE traditionally treats a show there as a special moment. That has not been the case this time though, and a fan has asked WrestleVotes why WWE is not treating Madison Square Garden as a special location ala Puerto Rico or London in recent months. According to WrestleVotes, a WWE source said “it’s just not what we do” when it comes to Madison Square Garden.

“It’s just not what we do” is what I got back. Think about that. ?

Opinion: This is hard to fathom but at the end of the day, maybe it is just something changing with the times. Other promotions have run Madison Square Garden before and while WWE will always feel connected to it, the company has gone to a variety of other places over the years. It might feel weird, but that does not mean that it is a bad thing after so many years.
