WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Postpones Major Upcoming International Event

As a result, the company presents events around the world, with some of them taking place in areas where major wrestling shows rarely take place. This can make for some interesting moments, but now one of the shows is not going to happen as previously planned.

A few weeks ago, a report surfaced that WWE was planning to run a live event in India on January 18, featuring stars from the SmackDown brand. However, according to a new report from WrestleVotes, the event will not be taking place and has been postponed. There is no word on why the event, which was never officially announced by WWE, will not be taking place as scheduled.

I’m told the proposed WWE Live Event in India scheduled for 1/18 has been postponed for unspecified reasons.

Opinion: I’m not sure what is going on here but I can almost guarantee that WWE will head back to India at some point in the future. India is such a huge potential market for WWE that they would be crazy to not try going there at some point. WWE knows that they have to expand and moving into one of the two biggest markets in the world with a big splash is about as high on the wise list as you can get.
