WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE May Not Be Splitting Up A Team After All

Safe for now? Tag teams have a weird history in wrestling as the company has a tendency to split them up over time. It can become fairly clear when a team is scheduled to set up, but there is always the chance that the company could changes its mind and keep the team together. That might be what we are seeing, as a team who was teasing a split might be staying together instead.

In recent months, the team of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, collectively known as A-Town Down Under, has teased dissension and teased a possible split. However, according to WrestleVotes on the Backstage Pass podcast, the team is expected to stay together until the company has WWE has something to do with them in the future. There is no word on when that might take place.

Opinion: This is somewhat encouraging as I would much rather not have the team split until there is something for them to do. Just splitting up a team for the sake of splitting them up isn’t going to do any good as they would just be stuck sitting around. The two of them do work well together and can be well served as pesky nuisances until WWE has better plans for them.
