New plan! We are less than three weeks away from WrestleMania 39, which will feature some of the biggest WWE matches of the year. This is the kind of show that can change a wrestler’s future and the question becomes what happens after that. Getting to headline the show is one of the biggest career boosts imaginable and now some different names might be receiving that honor.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Less The Merrier: WWE Reportedly Making A Change For This Year’s Hall Of Fame Class
According to Xero News on Twitter, WWE has made some changes to the WrestleMania card. The Raw Women’s Title match with Bianca Belair defending against Asuka will take place on Night One, while the SmackDown Women’s Title match with Charlotte defending against Rhea Ripley will take place on Night Two. A currently unannounced match between the Usos and Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn could be headlining Night One, though the plans have not yet been finalized. WrestleMania 39 takes place on April 1 and 2.

Opinion: There is some logic there, though I’m not sure how well having no women’s main event in back to back years will be received. That being said, the potential tag team match has been presented as a bigger story than either Women’s Title match. I could see WWE going either way and both have their merits, which tells you just how deep this year’s WrestleMania really is.
