WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Has Interesting Next Feud Planned For Becky Lynch

Battle of the generations. WWE has quite a few resources that other wrestling promotions do not possess. One of the biggest, and most important, is the NXT developmental system. Through NXT, WWE is able to develop its own in house stars, who can help usher in the next generation of wrestlers. It can mean a lot when one of them is ready for prime time, and now we might be getting ready to see just that.

Earlier this month, NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton had an in-ring segment where she said that she wanted to become the greatest NXT Women’s Champion of all time, even better than Becky Lynch. Later in the night, Lynch sent out a message reminding Stratton that she had never held the NXT Women’s Title, though she ended the message by saying “yet”. According to WRKD Wrestling, Lynch and Stratton are expected to face off soon. There is no word on any plans for Lynch to win the title. Stratton was shown in the audience this week on Monday Night Raw.

Opinion: This is the kind of feud that could make for something interesting as Stratton is rapidly charging up the ladder in NXT and Lynch is the biggest women’s star in history. It could be quite the showdown, with Lynch winning the title not being out of the question. Let them do their thing and see what happens, as Stratton is in need of a top level challenger in the near future.
