WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Very High On New Star, See Him As Potential Main Eventer

He’s a favorite. WWE has all kinds of talent available under its own roof but at some point a new generation of wrestlers needs to be brought in. That can be trickier than expected, but when the right prospect is found, WWE has a nice track record of bringing them along. Now it seems that there is a new name on the company’s radar and the push might have already begun.

According to WRKD Wrestling on Twitter, Grayson Waller is being set up for a “big future” in WWE. Waller is believed to have the ability both in the ring and on the microphone to be a main event star for years to come. Waller, 33, was involved in a segment with John Cena at Money In The Bank and lost his first main roster match to Edge last week on SmackDown. He has also been hosting his Grayson Waller Effect talk show.

If it wasn’t clear from his work with Cena at Money In The Bank or Edge on #Smackdown, Grayson Waller is being set up for a big future.

Opinion: This is something that WWE certainly needs to do and now it seems that they are understanding what has to be done. Waller is still relatively young but what matters most is that he is new. So far he has been handling himself well enough and if he can continue to grow, there definitely is a lot of potential there. Having potential and acting on it are two different things, but it’s working so far.
