That would be big. We are about a month and a half away from WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As has been the case over the show’s history, this year’s WrestleMania will likely include various celebrity involvement. This often includes celebrities with a connection to the local city and now we might be seeing a celebrity with a strong tie to Philadelphia.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE has interest in working with actor Sylvester Stallone in some capacity for WrestleMania 40. According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men podcast, there have been some conversations about trying to work with Stallone though it is not clear how far along those conversations have gone. Stallone has worked with WWE before, inducting Hulk Hogan into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2005.

It would be big. Check out what Stallone has done with WWE before and what will be seeing at WrestleMania:

Opinion: This is something that would make all the sense in the world as there are very few people more closely associated with Philadelphia sports than Stallone. Having Stallone as the celebrity who narrates the opening video would be a perfect role for him and I could go for seeing him in such a role. While this does not seem to be a done deal, it would be a rather nice way to go.
