WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Considers Reunion For Very Successful Team

It worked once. There have been several great tag teams in WWE history and it can be fascinating to see how far they can go. At some point though, a good number of those teams will split up and eventually feud with each other. Every so often, those wrestlers will get back together though and now one of them is teasing a reunion with the greatest partner and rival of his career.

Tommaso Ciampa has been out of action since September 2022 due to hip surgery. During a recent interview, Ciampa’s former partner Johnny Gargano said “you never know” in regards to a possible DIY reunion when Ciampa returned. According to WRKD Wrestling on twitter, there have been some form of talks about the reunion taking place, though there is no word on how far they are coming along. It is also not clear when Ciampa will return from injuries.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn aren’t the only “Frenemies” reuniting.

Opinion: I could certainly go with this kind of a reunion as the team was one of the best things in all of NXT and they never got a real chance on the main roster. At the same time, the tag division could use some fresh blood and Gargano doesn’t exactly have anything going on. Even if it doesn’t happen, it does at least give me some nice DIY flashbacks, as the team really was that great.
