That would be a way to go. We are in a strange place when it comes to WWE as the company is in need of some fresh stars. While there are all kinds of big names around, there are some who are out of action for one reason or another. Eventually those names are going to be back after awhile, and WWE is considering an idea for an interesting feud when some people are back.

New Day members Kofi Kingston and Big E. are both out of action as they recover from injuries at the moment. According to WRKD Wrestling on Twitter, a long term pitch would see New Day feuding with Imperium. This would include the centerpiece of Big E. vs. Gunther in some form. There is no word on when this might be the case, as Big E. is still recovering from a broken neck with no announced return date.
Despite a loss to Gunther on #Smackdown, one long term backstage pitch has seen Xavier Woods and a fully healed Big E and Kofi Kingston feuding with Imperium once the New Day are ready to return.

It would be interesting. Check out the teams and stars in action:
Opinion: This feels like it is putting the cart before the horse, as we could be waiting for a very long time to see Big E. return to the ring, assuming he ever wrestles again. At the end of the day, this is a nice idea, but with such a huge issue causing some problems, there is likely going to be a long wait before we can see anything like this happening. It’s an interesting idea though, and that is a good thing.
