That would be a change. WWE shook things up in a rather big way this week on Monday Night Raw, as Triple H announced the introduction of a new World Heavyweight Championship, which will be awarded at Night Of Champions on May 27. According to WRKD Wrestling, WWE is discussing the idea of single branded premium live events again, though nothing has been set in stone, meaning Monday Night Raw and SmackDown exclusive events. WWE has presented single branded events twice before, with the most recent run taking place from 2016-2018. The idea was abandoned for the sake of loading up one event per month with as much talent as possible.

Opinion: It wouldn’t surprise me to see something like this take place again, though we might be a ways away from seeing it take place. At the end of the day, WWE has done this twice before and the end result has been the same both times. Maybe that is the case again here if they do it again, but the new ownership might make things all that different this time around.
What do you think of the idea? Will WWE go through with it? Let us know in the comments below.
