That would be a change. The biggest wrestling story of the year has been the return of Vince McMahon to WWE. McMahon has taken his former role as Chairman of the Board, with the reported goal of selling the company. This has led to the question of whether McMahon will return to the creative side of the company. Now we might know a little more about such a change.
Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, Brock Lesnar accepted MVP’s offer of a match against Omos at WrestleMania 39. The match would be a first time pairing as Lesnar and Omos have never faced each other. According to WrestleVotes on Twitter, the match was McMahon’s idea, who pushed it through and made it happen. WWE and its executives have consistently said that McMahon has no impact on the creative side of the company.
I’m told the highly anticipated, very compelling (??) Brock Lesnar vs Omos WrestleMania matchup was the idea of one specific, powerful person who pushed it through. pic.twitter.com/VpcdEFsLzJ

It should be a big match. Check out how we got here and who is involved:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that several fans have been worried about for a long time now. McMahon’s creative efforts during the last few years of his career were not exactly well received and I don’t know how well it would be seen if he came back into the role. While Omos vs. Lesnar does feel like a McMahon idea, there is every chance that it just feels like one instead of actually being one. We’ll have to wait and see what McMahon does, but for now, it does seem like a possibility.
What do you think of the idea? What would McMahon returning to WWE creative mean? Let us know in the comments below.
