Remember that one? There are all kinds of events presented under the WWE banner every year, many of which are run of the mill events. Those are the kind that do not stand out very much, but there are some which are not exactly the same. Such shows stand out for a reason and while it might not have happened last year, we might be seeing it make a comeback in the future.

Last year, WWE did not present a Tribute To The Troops for the first time since the show began airing in 2003. According to WrestleVotes by way of Cagesideseats.com, WWE is hoping to get the show back to its roots, though it is not clear what that means. The show originally took place overseas and later at stateside military bases. It is not clear if WWE will return the shows to locations other than standard arenas or when the show could air.

The show has a history. Check out what has happened at the event over the years:

Opinion: This does make sense, as the last few editions of the show have not even taken place at a military base. It wasn’t exactly leaving much of a connection to the military or the troops in the first place, so if that was the case, why keep holding the event? Hopefully WWE figures out something to do with the event, as it does offer something to both the troops and the audience at home.
