It can mean a lot to have a legend pop up in the right spot and that is still the case today in WWE. This time around, we might be in for a major story involving a past star mixing it up with a current top star.

Last month, Trish Stratus made a surprise return to help Lita and Becky Lynch win the Women’s Tag Team Titles. The three are now set for a six woman tag against Damage CTRL at WrestleMania 39. According to WRKD Wrestling on Twitter, the current plan is for Stratus to turn on Lynch and feud with her throughout the summer, leading to a match between the two at Summerslam. There is no word on when the turn will take place.

The long term plan, as of this moment, is that Trish Stratus will turn heel and work a program with Becky Lynch through SummerSlam.

Opinion: This is something that could be a fun story as Lynch is pretty much out of top women to face at the moment. Stratus is someone who blazed a path in the women’s division and is still around for occasional moments such as this one. You do not get situations like that very often but it could be very interesting to see the two generations collide.
