As the wrestlers turn. With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster today, it can be easy for someone to need a bit of a change. It doesn’t help when there is so much television time to fill every week that a wrestler can get stale pretty fast if they are around too often. Sometimes a change is needed and we might have seen that take place this week in a pretty big way.
The main event of this week’s Monday Night Raw featured Bobby Lashley and Big E. teaming up to face Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens. Lashley pinned Owens to win, but was attacked after the match and laid out by Rollins and Owens. Lashley’s manager MVP was also absent from ringside after Lashley asked to do this himself. According to Wrestlingnews.co, while not confirmed, this could suggest a babyface turn for Lashley, who has been a villain for well over a year.
Lashley could be on to something here. Check out what he has been doing of late:
Opinion: It would be pretty easy to see how Lashley would be popular with the fans at the moment, as he is an absolute buzzsaw. That is often the key to becoming a star, yet for some reason WWE can’t understand the concept. Lashley is popular because he is beating everyone up and feels unstoppable. How can you not want to cheer for someone like that? Even if he has not turned fully, he is certainly going in that direction, which is a good thing.
What do you think of Lashley? How would he do as a good guy? Let us know in the comments below.
