They have a plan. Last weekend, WWE announced that WrestleMania 41 will be taking place at Allegiant Stadium near Las Vegas, Nevada in 2025. This marks the end of a question about where the show would take place, but it also leaves fans wondering where the show might go in the future. We might have an idea for a future show, which would be quite the milestone.

According to WrestleOps, “local Detroit radio” is claiming that the Detroit Sports Commission is planning to put in a bid for WrestleMania 43 in 2027. This would mark the 40th anniversary of WrestleMania 3 and the 20th anniversary of WrestleMania 23, both of which were held near or in Detroit. There is no word on when WWE is planning to announce future WrestleMania locations or dates.

Opinion: It would make sense for Detroit to want to do something like this as WWE does have a mild obsession with focusing on its own history. If they can have something like a twentieth and fortieth anniversary event in the same location, we could be in for quite a nice show in Detroit. They have the facilities to make it work so why not see what happens when they get the chance?
