WRESTLING RUMORS: International Star Signs With AEW, May Not Be What You Expect

They got him? There are all kinds of wrestling promotions around the world with several talented wrestlers throughout. Those stars might not get the same recognition as others but they are incredibly good at what they do. It can be a big deal when a major promotion signs one of those stars to a deal and that might have happened again, albeit with a few possible tweaks.

According to Luchablog, Black Taurus has signed a deal with AEW but it might come under a different name and/or gimmick. AAA reportedly owns the rights to the Black Taurus character so a change might be required. This would be similar to previous signings from AAA, including the Lucha Bros, who were required to change their names upon going elsewhere. There is no word on when Taurus could make his debut as an official part of the AEW roster.

Opinion: This is the kind of signing that AEW needs to make from time to time and that is a good thing. The company needs some fresh blood every so often and that seems to be what they are doing here. At the end of the day, Taurus is a talented star who offers something a bit different. AEW would be smart to bring him in if they could and that is what they seem to be doing.
