According to WrestlePurists by way of Cagesideseats.com, former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is expected to make his AEW this weekend at WrestleDream. The original plans called for Lashley to wrestle on the show, though it is not clear if this is still the case. Lashley’s debut would come shortly after the debuts of his former Hurt Business teammates in WWE, MVP and Shelton Benjamin, though it is not clear if the three will unite in AEW. Lashley left AEW earlier this year when his contract expired.

Opinion: Lashley to AEW has been rumored for a long time now and it would not surprise me to see him finally make his debut. If nothing else, Swerve Strickland is going to need something to do on the show and Strickland’s current manager has been having issues with Lashley’s previous manager. What matters the most is getting a talented star on the AEW roster though and that might be what we see next.
