WRESTLING RUMORS: First Time Ever Match Discussed For WrestleMania 41

That would be big. We are just over three months away from WrestleMania 41 and that means WWE has a lot of work to do to get the show ready in time. The company is going to be working extra hard to get everything together as fast as they can, which should include some major showdowns. While not yet confirmed, we do have an idea of one such match on the card.

According to WrestleVotes during a Backstage Pass Q&A by way of Wrestlingnews.co, there have been rumblings about a WrestleMania 41 match between Charlotte and Tiffany Stratton. At the moment, the match has only been discussed and has not been officially decided. It is not clear if Stratton’s WWE Women’s Title would be on the line. Charlotte is reportedly set to return from her year plus long injury absence in the near future.

Opinion: This is the kind of match that makes sense on paper and I could go for seeing it take place in reality later this year on the biggest stage of them all. Stratton has come a long way in a pretty short amount of time and while she isn’t quite at Charlotte’s level yet, it would be a big deal to see her getting that kind of a shot. It would be even better if Stratton got the win, but we’ll have to get the match set up in the first place.
