What might be. We are less than two weeks away from WrestleMania 39 and the card is either already set or on the way to being set. WWE is still making some adjustments to the lineup though and in this case it will involve several wrestlers being put on the show in a pair of matches. Now we have at least a preliminary idea of who those wrestlers are going to be.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: On The Mend: Update On Ronda Rousey’s Injury Status
This week on SmackDown, WWE announced a pair of tag team showcase matches, one for men and one for women, with four teams each having to qualify. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez qualified this week to become the first of the eight teams over the two matches. According to WrestleVotes, the rest of the women’s lineup is expected to feature Shanya Baszler/Ronda Rousey, Natalya/Shotzi and Carmella/Chelsea Green. In addition, also according to WrestleVotes, the men’s lineup is expected to feature Braun Strowman/Ricochet, the Viking Raiders, the Street Profits and Alpha Academy.
As of last creative discussion, the women’s fatal four way at WrestleMania will be: Raquel/ Liv vs. Shayna / Ronda vs. Nattie / Shotzi vs. Carmella & Chelsea.

I’m told 2 additional matches are coming to the WrestleMania card. Both Men’s & Women’s four way tags. The men’s lineup is currently scheduled as:
Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy vs. Viking Raiders vs. Braun Strowman / Ricochet.

Those are some interesting names. Check out some of them in action:
Opinion: This is still one of the more interesting ideas that WWE has had for WrestleMania though I’m not sure how well it will work. Having four teams, most of whom we have seen in regular action on television for a very long time, doesn’t exactly feel like a showcase. Maybe WWE can put something on the line for the winners, but for right now, it feels like a strange choice.
