That would be a big one. We are less than a week away from Night Of Champions and the card is mostly set. The show, which will take place in Saudi Arabia, will mainly be focused on championships but there will be some non-title matches between prominent names. It seems WWE may be having to expand the card, as a certain star has gotten himself some attention.

According to the BWE Twitter account by way of Wrestlingnews.co, WWE is considering adding an LA Knight vs. Rick Boogs match to the Night Of Champions Kickoff Show. Knight is said to have been “super over with the Saudis” and WWE is considering giving him a match as a result. Should the match take place, it would be a rare instance, as WWE has mainly stopped running Kickoff Show matches. The Night Of Champions Kickoff Show is scheduled for 12pm EST on May 27.

Opinion: This would be a great sign for Knight, who seems to have gotten himself over with the fans and is being given a chance as a result. While Knight still has a long way to go, what matters is that he is being given at least a look. At some point he will need more than that, but for now, things are starting to come together for him and that is a great thing after the work he has put in.
