WRESTLING RUMORS: Another WWE Legend Likely For Next Week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event

To the show! WWE is currently making a variety of changes to its television schedule, including bringing back one of its most important series of all time in Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show returned to the air last month after a sixteen year absence and featured quite the nostalgic theme. That theme is apparently going to continue next week as the show’s second episode will feature a special guest star.

According to WrestleVotes during a Backstage Q&A by way of Wrestlingnews.co, WWE Hall Of Famer and current NXT executive Shawn Michaels is expected to appear next week at the second episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show is set to take place in Michaels’ hometown of San Antonio, Texas. There is no word on what is planned for Michaels to do at the event.

Opinion: This is something that makes sense as WWE has presented the show as a nostalgic affair so having Michaels out there is a good idea. He’s one of the biggest names in WWE history and the show is taking place in the city he is associated with, so why not try it? If nothing else, it might even tie the show in with NXT, which could make for a nice moment.
