WRESTLING RUMORS: Another WWE Hall Of Famer To Return, Team With Lita/Becky Lynch

This is a big one. Legends have been used as a major part of wrestling for a very long time. Wrestling is one of the only sport where a legend can jump back in with almost no notice and become a focal point all over again. You never know when you are going to see one more match, and now we seem to be seeing it again with two legends looking set to come back to the ring.

The main event of this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw saw Becky Lynch defeat Bayley in a steel cage match with the help of Lita. Late in the match, Lita appeared to help Lynch clear out Damage Ctrl, allowing Lynch to pick up the win. According to WRKDWrestling on Twitter and affirmed by Sean Ross Sapp on Twitter, Lita’s return is expected to be followed by Trish Stratus’ return next week, with the two teaming together with Lynch against Damage Ctrl at Elimination Chamber.

Expect Lita tonight. Trish next week. Becky/Trish/Lita against Damage CTRL at Elimination Chamber.

Opinion: Well ok then. This is one of those matches that I never would have thought of before but winds up sounding pretty awesome on paper. One of the coolest things about WWE’s women’s division is that several of the pioneers are still around and can jump in the ring on occasion. Lita and Stratus have done it, along with people like Molly Holly, Victoria and Mickie James. This has potential to be a huge match and I’m interested in seeing how it plays out.
