It’s not happening. One of the most common ways to start a successful wrestling career is to have a family member in the industry. That is the kind of thing that gives you a foot in the door while also giving fans something that they can relate to early on. It has been the case in WWE for years now, but one such star who seemed ready to join WWE will not be doing so after all.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Nostalgic Flashback: Former WWE Tag Team Champions Announce New Deal With The Company

Back in February, a report surfaced announcing that Colby Corino, son of WWE Performance Center coach Steve Corino, had signed with WWE and would report to the Performance Center the next month. However, according to Bodyslam.net, there was no contract signed but rather an agreement. Now with WWE having been sold to Endeavor, the deal was dropped, making Colby a free agent who can sign with any interested promotion.

Colby certainly has skills. Check out what he can do in the ring:

Opinion: That isn’t good to see and you never want to see someone lose what seems to be the biggest spot of their career for a reason out of their control. Hopefully he gets a chance to join the company later on as apparently he has the talent to earn a spot on the show. There are likely to be several additional moves like this, which can be explained, but that doesn’t make things better for the people who have to deal with them.

What do you think of the change? Where should Colby sign? Let us know in the comments below.
