One more try? The inception of AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works, as there is now another major wrestling promotion in the United States. This allows a variety of spots for other wrestlers to work, which has allowed quite a few changes to the industry. Occasionally someone will jump back from AEW to WWE though, and that might be what WWE wants to see happen.

Earlier this month, Malakai Black reportedly finished up with AEW, though he is still under contract with the company for at least another month. According to Pro Wrestling Torch, there are some in WWE who see Black as a potential top star should he return. Black has also reportedly told those close to him that he is more accepting of Triple H in charge of WWE creative than Vince McMahon. There is no word on if WWE and Black have discussed a potential return. Black previously wrestled for WWE from 2016-2021.

Opinion: It isn’t exactly shocking that WWE might be interested in having Black return, as he was certainly someone who was having success in WWE. The company might want to try its hand at seeing what happens in another run, as Black’s time in AEW seems to have come to an end. For now though, this is at least an interesting option and I could go for seeing what happens.
