WRESTLING RUMOR: Surprising Name Doing Well In WWE Merchandise Sales (It’s Not A Wrestler)

He did it? Merchandise has long been a major thing in wrestling and it makes perfect sense. Fans are going to want to show their support for various stars and throwing on a shirt or something similar is a popular way to do just that. Some of them are a bit more unique than others and now it seems that one particular version did remarkably well, even beating some surprising contemporaries.

According to WrestleVotes Radio by way of Wrestlingnews.co, merchandise for CM Punk’s dog Larry, including a shirt and possibly a stuffed animal version of Larry, outdrew various current Superstars and legends. WWE is said to be thrilled with how the sales have gone and more Larry merchandise is expected when Punk returns to WWE. It is not clear when that will be taking place

Opinion: That is the kind of thing that might be more of anomaly than anything else but it is quite the headline and shows what Punk can do. The fans react to what Punk does, to the point where they are willing to buy merchandise from his dog. You do not see something like that very often and Punk is likely going to be one of the featured players in WWE for a good while to come.
