Wrap It Up? AEW Star Reportedly Finishing Up, WWE Return A Possibility

He’s done? AEW’s introduction to the wrestling world has changed all kinds of things about the wrestling world. Now, rather than WWE being the only major wrestling promotion around, there is another major option where wrestlers can go. There are some wrestlers who are able to go back and forth between the two promotions, which is what might be happening again.

This weekend, Miro defeated Andrade El Idolo when CJ Perry turned on El Idolo to side with her husband Miro. Fightful Select is confirming other reports that El Idolo is expected to be done with AEW following the show, though this is not confirmed. El Idolo is said to have made it clear that he did not want to be in AEW any longer at this week’s Dynamite, with some saying that it was a “major disagreement”. There is no word on where El Idolo is expected to sign next, though sources in both WWE and AEW believe that he will wind up back in WWE.

Opinion: This is one of those things that is going to happen every so often and now the question is where El Idolo is going to go. Odds are that will result in El Idolo making it back to WWE, where he might be better for both sides. El Idolo has done well in AEW so far but he was even more successful in WWE. We should get to see where things go soon, but now things have gotten that much more interesting as people start jumping one way or another.
