Not yet? We are on the way to the end of the year and that means a lot of promotions are getting ready for some major events. Some of these events involve new stars getting to come into a new promotion, which can open up several doors. However, in this case it seems that one name will not be coming in for a bit longer, as a contract situation is not as clear as it once appeared.

Earlier this week, reports surfaced saying that Speedball Mike Bailey was on the way to AEW and could be debuting in this year’s Continental Classic. However, according to PWInsider.com by way of Cagesideseats.com, Bailey will not be debuting until the new year, assuming that he does so. In addition, according to Fightful by way of Cagesideseats.com, Bailey’s TNA contract does not expire until the end of the year but he is able to negotiate with other promotions.
Bailey is quite the star. Check out his time in TNA:
Opinion: It’s a big deal that we might have to wait to see Bailey come to AEW, though it seems that will be taking place sooner or later. If it is the new year, it is only going to be a few extra weeks rather than what we would have been seeing otherwise. For now though, we are likely going to have to wait for Bailey, who is talented enough to make a heck of an impact as soon as he debuts in AEW.
What do you think of Bailey? How would you bring him into AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
