It’s working. We are in the busiest season of WWE’s year and that means it it time to get things going towards WrestleMania 40. The show is the most important of the year for WWE and that means we are going to be seeing the show’s card come together. This includes one match that a lot of fans do not seem interested in seeing, but at least for now, things seem to be going well.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: In The Cards: Update On The Rock vs. Roman Reigns At WrestleMania 40
Last week on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes said that he would not be challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania, with the Rock seemingly facing Reigns instead. This has led to fans rebelling against the decision, with several pro-Rhodes chants and trends taking place since. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, this week’s Monday Night Raw had “10,000 people” despite having about “7,600 tickets” out before last week’s SmackDown. Moving this many tickets in such a short span is considered rare and a sign that fans care about Rhodes.
They saw a good show. Check out some of this week’s Monday Night Raw:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you do not see happen very often and it could make for some very interesting situations. With the Las Vegas press conference set for this week, we could be in for quite the fireworks on the Road To WrestleMania. WWE has a long time to go and it could be a lot of fun to see what kinds of twists and turns they have in stor for the show.
What does this mean for Rhodes? Will the expected WrestleMania card change? Let us know in the comments below.
