Someone has to stop her. Asuka has reigned as NXT Women’s Champion for well over a year now and no one has really given her a challenge in most of that time. She’s run through the division without too much trouble but now things have changed. Not only has Asuka turned heel but she now has a fresh batch of challengers coming after her title. She’ll get to meet more than one of them at once.

This week on “NXT”, Asuka interfered in a #1 contenders battle royal, causing it to end in a no contest. General Manager William Regal didn’t care as he announced a fatal four way at “Takeover: Chicago” for the title with Ember Moon, Ruby Riot and Nikki Cross challenging Asuka. Moon will be coming in injured as Asuka threw her into the barricade, seeming to injure Moon’s shoulder.

Opinion: Asuka’s recent heel turn has made her a lot more interesting in a hurry, which was a very necessary change. You can only get so much out of having her run people over and almost never break a sweat. Now there’s more of a reason to see Asuka lose the title and this match has the potential to see that finally happen.
