Add it to the list. The wrestling world has been shaken up in a big way this week by the SpeakOut movement, which has caused a lot of wrestlers and wrestling personalities to face accusations of sexual misconduct. There have been a lot of people accused of some horrible and often illegal things, but one of the biggest parts of the situation is wondering how deep this situation can go. Another name was added this weekend.

The list of names spread around the world, but the majority of names have been from the United Kingdom. This has included several names who have wrestled for WWE’s NXT UK brand. These names are more prominent than others due to their employer, but there are some names in that group who are higher up than others. On Saturday, one of the biggest names yet was added to the list.

Over the weekend, a woman named Megan accused NXT UK star Trent Seven of trying to “hook up” with underage girls over WrestleMania weekend in Orlando, Florida in 2017. Megan alleges that Seven knew the girls were underage but sent them to the bar to get drinks with the intention of hooking up with them later that night, though the girls did not seem comfortable.

Megan intervened and got the drinks instead, in an attempt to get the girls out of the situation. She and Seven wound up sleeping together, with Seven later threatening to harm himself if Megan told anyone. Seven has denied the claims, calling them “untrue” and “a defamation of character” while saying he will be taking the matter further.

Later in the day however, one of the women involved made a series of posts on Twitter, saying that the story is not entirely accurate and that three of the four women involved were over eighteen and that Seven did not attempt to buy them drinks once he found out that three of them were under twenty one years old. The fourth friend was seventeen but was not around all night. The three of age women flirted with Seven throughout the night but there is no indication that anything illegal happened with him.

It was a specific weekend. Check out some more positive moments from the weekend in question:

Opinion: I’m not sure what happened that weekend but if this story is true, it does not put Seven into the best light. It is another situation that will need to be investigated as it could go in a few different ways. Seven denied the accusations and there is not much else that he can do at the moment. As has been the case with almost everyone else involved in the SpeakOut moment, we have nothing to do but wait and see where this goes.
