At the same time, WWE will occasionally lets fans have more of a direct say in determining things, which was the case again this weekend in a special moment.

WWE brought back the Slammy Awards this weekend at WWE World. The Awards were presented online rather than on a special televised event. This year marked the return of the Awards for the first time since 2020 and the first time since 1997 that they did not take place in December. Opinion: This is the kind of thing that fits in perfectly for WrestleMania Weekend as the whole thing is designed to be something more fun rather than serious. The Slammy Awards have been around on and off for decades so making them an annual tradition again is not a bad idea. At the end of the day, they’re fan voted awards and don’t mean much so have some fun with them.
