Maybe he’ll last longer than a minute and a half. We might not be done with Goldberg just yet as he is reportedly going to be around in the new year. According to a new report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Goldberg has signed a deal to appear in the 2017 Royal Rumble. While there is no word on a potential match at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”, this would seem to be a possible place to set one up.

Goldberg returned to WWE and mainstream wrestling in October of this year after being away for over twelve years. He went on to defeat Brock Lesnar in a match that didn’t even last ninety seconds at “Survivor Series 2016”. There is a chance a rematch could be set up with the story starting at “Royal Rumble 2017”.

I’m fine with Goldberg making a few more appearances but I’m really not wanting to see a rematch. Goldberg is now 2-0 against Lesnar and beat the improved version in about a minute and a half. Sure Paul Heyman can call it a fluke, but does that mean it’s something interesting? It’s certainly not something I want to see but I might be in the minority.

Do you want to see Goldberg in WWE again? If so, do you want to see him face Lesnar one more time? Let us know in the comments below.
