They’re stacking that roster. In its short history, AEW has put a focus on their tag team division with all kinds of top level teams. There is almost no company in the world with a tag division that can come close to what they are doing in that area and it is certainly a strength of theirs. They weren’t done yet though as the division has now gotten even deeper than before.
On Saturday at All Out, the team of Santana and Ortiz debuted for AEW. The team, formerly known as LAX in Impact Wrestling, attacked both the Young Bucks and the Lucha Bros after their ladder match for the AAA Tag Team Titles. While their name is not confirmed, their AEW name may be the Boricuas, which was mentioned several times during the show. The team has been rumored to sign with the company for several months.
LAX knows the Lucha Bros. Check out one of their awesome matches earlier this year:
Opinion: This is one of those things that is as much of a layup as you are going to see as the two of them fit in perfectly with the AEW tag team division. LAX has proven themselves to be one of the best tag teams in the world at this point and they are more than capable of being on top of the AEW tag team division. If you haven’t seen them before, they are worth your time as they really are that good.
Has LAX impressed you before? Who do you want to see them face in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
