Jim Ross returned to AEW television this week, calling the main event of Dynamite between Jon Moxley and Jay White in his home state of Oklahoma. Ross has been out of action for the last few months as he focuses on health issues. There is no word on when Ross will be returning to AEW full time, though he had only been calling one match a week before his hiatus.
Ross has done well in AEW. Check out his return, plus some more of his time with the company:
Opinion: It’s great to have Ross back as he is one of the greatest announcers of all time. While he might not be as good as he was before, there is something about hearing that voice over wrestling that just feels right. Having him shift towards special moments have worked well for him and it is making his appearances feel that much better. I’m not sure when he will be back full time, but at least he had an appearance here.
