Welcome Back? Update On Bobby Lashley’s Possible WWE Return

He’s back? There are so many wrestlers on the WWE roster that it can be difficult to keep track of everyone. As a result, it can be easy to see someone slip through the cracks, especially if they do not do something for awhile. That can make for some rather interesting returns though, and that very well may be the case this week with a former World Champion.

Local advertising is promoting Bobby Lashley for the June 16 SmackDown in Lexington, Kentucky, though there is the chance that the advertisements are not up to date. Lashley has not appeared on WWE TV since losing to AJ Styles in the World Heavyweight Championship tournament on May 12. There is no word on why Lashley has not been used since then.

Opinion: Lashley is a star and it would make sense that WWE would want to have him back. At the end of the day, there are few people with his kind of resume and having a multiple time former World Champion around is a good thing. Above all else, WWE can always use star power and Lashley is someone who can be put into any kind of spot on the roster without much trouble.
