You knew he would be back. There are all kind of stars on the WWE roster and sometimes it can be hard to find something for all of them to do. Every now and then you have someone who has all of the tools they need but for one reason or another, something keeps them from being a regular on television. That was the case earlier this year but now we might be seeing a change.

Keith Lee had one of the biggest rises in the history of NXT, going from a monster to the North American Champion and all the way up to the NXT Champion. Soon after losing the NXT Title, he was on Monday Night Raw as possibly the next big thing. That is not how things wound up going for him though and his career stalled in a pretty bad way. Lee has not wrestled a match since February, but now that might be changing soon.

WWE has announced that Lee will be making his return as one of the guests on night two of the NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver watch along. This will be Lee’s first appearance on WWE programming since February, when he defeated Riddle. Lee has been out of action due to unspecified health issues. There is no word on when he will be returning to the ring or what he will be doing when he gets back.

Lee has been a star for WWE before. Check out some of his better moments:

Opinion: I’m glad to see Lee back, but I would much rather have him in the ring again. Lee seems to be someone who could be a star in the blink of an eye but for some reason it has not clicked on the main roster. Maybe Vince McMahon does not get him or does not like him, though the talent is certainly there. Hopefully it winds up clicking, because Lee is far too unique of a star to waste.
