They have a direction. A return can be one of the most exciting things in wrestling as you don’t know when you are going to see someone pop up again. It can make things all the more interesting out of nowhere, especially if it is something you have been waiting on for a long time. That was the case this week, as a star made his return and already seems to have a target.

Rey Fenix made his return to AEW Dynamite this week and reunited the Death Triangle to take out the House of Black. While not confirmed, this would seem to tease a match between the two teams. Fenix has been out of action with an arm injury since January but has since returned to wrestling in Mexico. There is no word on when he is scheduled to wrestle again in AEW.

Opinion: That is certainly great to see as Fenix was out of action for several months. The injury was so scary that I wasn’t sure how long he was going to be out of action but this seems to certainly be on the better side of things. Hopefully he can stay healthy this time, as the Death Triangle might have the worst luck of any group that I have seen in a long time in wrestling.

What do you think of Fenix’s return? How will the feud with the House of Black go? Let us know in the comments below.
