In a new video posted to Instagram, Monday Night Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that there will be a women’s Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber on February 24. The winner of the match will challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Title at WrestleMania 40. There will be a series of qualifying matches for the six spots beginning this week on Monday Night Raw.

They’ve done this before. Check out the women in the Chamber:

Opinion: This isn’t exactly a surprise as it was pretty much guaranteed to happen but that doesn’t make it any less interesting. The Elimination Chamber is the other way to set up a title match at WrestleMania and we should be in for a good one if the right participants are included. Ripley is going to need a top challenge for the title and there is a good chance she’ll find one here.
