Run? Last August, WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt passed away unexpectedly at age 36 following a heart attack. Wyatt’s passing led to a variety of tributes to come flooding in, both from WWE and other sources. There are still tributes coming in and one of the biggest took place this week. It also turns out that there is something rather unique included in the whole thing.

This week, a documentary on Wyatt’s life was released on Peacock. The documentary ends with a shadowed figure appearing near Wyatt’s trademark lantern and saying Wyatt’s “run” catchphrase. According to Fightful Select, the figure is believed to be Uncle Howdy, a character introduced during Wyatt’s final run with the company and played by Wyatt’s brother Bo Dallas. WWE had reportedly wanted to bring Howdy back to television but did not want to rush it following Wyatt’s passing. There is no word on how or when Howdy could return.
This could go in a few different ways. Check out the teaser plus Howdy in WWE:
Opinion: I’m really not sure how to feel about this, but there is something to be said about this being not only someone who was introduced to the story before Wyatt’s passing but also that it is his brother. I don’t think it is something that would work long term, but there is the chance that is could be a nice way to wrap up everything in Wyatt’s WWE career. Dallas is a talented star and can handle his own with everything, but it could be going on very shaky ground to say the least.
