He wants him back. Tag teams have been a concept in wrestling for decades and they have led to some incredible moments throughout history. Two wrestlers to come together can be joined at the hip in one way or another, even if they do not always get along. That can lead to some outstanding situations, and now a wrestler appears to be attempting to get his old partner back.
WWE’s Tommaso Ciampa has uploaded a video online, showing him putting up missing person posters about his former friend/rival and tag team partner Johnny Gargano. Ciampa said that he had to find Gargano, who has not wrestled a match on WWE TV since May 15. Matt Riddle appears and spoke about how he missed his own missing tag partner in Randy Orton. There is no word on when Gargano is expected to return to WWE TV, though he did wrestled some matches at live events in July.
This is a way to look for him. Check out Ciampa’s video, plus he and Gargano together:
Opinion: I could go for Gargano and Ciampa being back together, as the tag division could certainly use some kind of a boost. They were a great team in NXT and it isn’t like they have anything else going on at the moment. If nothing else, occasionally there are wrestlers who are that much better as a team rather than on their own and maybe that is the case with them.
