Sometimes you need a change. There are all kinds of ways to present a wrestler with one gimmick after another. Some of these are ideas that you have seem more than once over the years but that is not a terrible thing. Sometimes you might need to see a change of some sort. That seems to be the case again as a WWE star has changed up the way they are presented.

This week’s edition of SmackDown featured the return of Madcap Moss after a three week absence, following Happy Corbin attacking him. Moss returned and said he was no longer telling jokes but rather here to get revenge on Corbin. In addition to Moss’ change in attitude, his gear had also changed, with the suspenders gone in exchange of a regular pair of short.

This was a success. Check out the return:

Opinion: This is something that had to be done if Moss is going to move up the ladder whatsoever. The Madcap name needs to go as well, but just changing his appearance and getting rid of some of the more ridiculous parts is going to do him a lot of good. He has the look and some of the charisma so if he can make it work in the ring, WWE very well may have something with him.

What did you think of Moss’ change? How far can he go in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
