That’s a classic. WWE has been around for a very long time now and that means they have seen all kinds of things throughout their history. There are other things that have barely ever been seen, if at all. That is what we we are getting to see again.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They Should Want Him: AEW Star’s Contract Reportedly Expires This Year, WWE Likely Interested
WWE has uploaded a new video to its WWE Vault YouTube channel showing CM Punk participating in the Legion of Doom’s tryout match from 2003. The video includes an introduction from Punk, who explains how he was previously banned from WWE but got to work the match anyway. The match is somewhat clipped but based on the time coe that is present throughout the match, the majority is shown.
This is cool. Check out the match, plus Punk and the LOD in WWE:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that I love to see as it gives you a bit of a tease of what is locked away in that video vault. The company can release all kinds of little hidden gems like this or years and never come close to running out of material. It’s cool to see matches and segments like this one, especially with s connection to modern day WWE. Keep doing this kind of thing because it’s a lot of fun.
