WATCH: Wrestling Star Makes Surprise AEW Debut After Six Year Hiatus

She’s here too. There have been all kinds of wrestlers who have come into AEW throughout its history and that has made things all the more interesting in a variety of ways. In addition, there have been non-wrestlers making their appearances as well, including some stars who have not been around in a long time. That was the case again this week in quite the surprise.

This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite featured a brawl between FTR and Jay Lethal/Jeff Jarrett/Sonjay Dutt/Satnam Singh. During the brawl, Jarrett’s wife Karen made her AEW debut and helped the team beat down FTR. This was Karen’s first appearance on national television since 2017. There is no word on how frequently Karen will be appearing on AEW television going forward.

Opinion: This is the kind of surprise that shocked me, but I’m not entirely sure where if it is a good idea to bring back someone from the not best days of Impact Wrestling. Having Jeff receive as much television time as he has already gotten has not gone so well but now someone else is appearing with him. That might not be the most well received idea, though Karen can be quite good at her job.
