This weekend at Impact Wrestling Rebellion, Tommy Dreamer’s team defeated Bully Ray’s team in a Hardcore War. Before the match, Dreamer talked about how his mother was in bad health and he needed to be with her. In both his comments before the match and in more after them, Dreamer said that he was taking some time away from wrestling. There is no word on when he will return or if he will be back with Impact Wrestling. Dreamer, 52, has been with Impact Wrestling since 2018.

Opinion: There are certain things that are more important than wrestling and the health of your mother is one of them. Dreamer has long since proven what wrestling means to him and for him to need to step away shows you just how serious things are. Hopefully everything works out and he is back in the ring sooner than later, but more importantly, hopefully his mother gets better fast.
What do you think of Dreamer? How can he be best used? Let us know in the comments below.
